A number of proposed policy changes were discussed.  Everyone attended the meeting via Teams.

Richard Farrell provided the quarterly pension updates on the Nationwide Pension Fund (NPF) (which closes to future accrual on 31 March 2021) and Group Personal Pension (GPP) including onboarding of NPF members into the GPP.

Julia Phippard and Sharna Tinson returned to JCNC to provide a further update on “Re-imagining work”.  Karin McKenzie and Charlotte Cross also joined the call.

Emma Stigwood joined the meeting to hear NGSU feedback on the Performance Enablement revised approach on objective setting.

It was noted that a Joint Statement was planned for 19 March 2021.

A number of papers / updates were provided for noting in respect of PeopleCloud and People & Culture Policy changes.

A number of actions were agreed with regards to the above and actions were closed in respect of Conference Motion 2019/50 – free sanitary products being made available throughout all workspaces, PeopleCloud changes to HR Policies, Reservist Training, Business Committees, Reimagining Work, Election and New President and quarterly Inclusion and Wellbeing updates now to be covered at the Strategic Action Group.

The next JCNC will take place on 15 April 2021.
