Joint Consultation and Negotiation Committee – Summary for September 2020

MEETING HELD: 10 September 2020

A number of proposed policy changes were discussed. Due to employees working from home where possible to minimise the spread of Coronavirus, the meeting took place via Teams.

Darren O’Neil and Richard Farrell provided the quarterly Pensions update which covered the Nationwide Pension Fund and Group Personal Pension.

A number of papers / updates were provided for noting in respect of Coronavirus temporary changes, People & Culture Policy Simplification, PeopleCloud (new HR system), and papers on the Pay Gap and Password Resetting. It was agreed to commence the temporary closure of Optimus, Pegasus and Wakefield House following review of employee feedback.

A number of actions were agreed with regards to the above and actions were closed in respect of Nationwide Pension Fund valuation query, Coronavirus related queries, Inclusion & Diversity actions and homeworking.

The next JCNC will take place on 15 October2020.
