BAME Workers and Coronavirus

The statistics indicate that a disproportionate number of deaths related to the Coronavirus are occurring within the BAME communities. What’s less clear at this time is why this is the case.
The TUC is running a survey to capture the experiences of BAME workers, to ensure that any action that is needed is identified and taken, to pressure the Equalities and Human Rights Commission to hold public authorities and employers to account, and to bring the impact of Covid-19 on BAME workers to the attention of the broader public.
