Covid-19 – Branch Concerns

We are receiving a lot of feedback from union members who are are expressing many concerns about the working arrangements in branches and making comparisons to other financial organisations, which have taken steps to reduce branch opening hours.  We’re also hearing concerns about continuing to offer face-to-face interviews and the ability to properly observe social distancing advice.

I have raised these concerns with Nationwide and we are having active and constructive discussions about further measures to support employees.  I am hopeful that we will make quick progress and be able to provide more reassurance soon.
