A number of proposed policy changes were discussed and the JCNC received presentations from a number of guests.
Neil Lewis and Holly Aitkenhead provided the strategic overview of the HR Oracle cloud project.
The NGSU asked for an overview the HR Timeline of policy changes for 2020 and GB provided a verbal update.
Sarah Harber, Russell Algar and Yousif Abu Sadda joined the Committee to provide an overview of a new security system.
Faye Whitmarsh, Tusli Patel, Julie McCarthy and Sian Miles provided the quarterly Culture & Inclusion update which covered Nationwide’s culture, ViewPoint, Inclusion & Diversity Mission & Measures, Gender & Ethnicity Pay Gaps, and Performance & Ethnicity.
NGSU Conference motions were discussed and the JCNC and the monthly Pensions papers noted. The annual review of the JCNC Terms of Reference took place and some minor changes were agreed.
A number of actions were agreed with regards to the above and actions were closed in respect of turnover analysis, leavers data, public holidays 2020 and meetings set up with NGSU for them to provide feedback on branch resourcing.
The next JCNC will take place on 13 February 2020.
