The Joint Consultation and Negotiation Committee received presentations from a number of guests.

Tina Sherrington returned to JCNC to provide the quarterly employee welfare group update.

Gail Restall joined the meeting to update on take up of shared parental leave since it was introduced in April 2015. A discussion on shared parental leave pay and maternity pay was held.

Rachel Gwynne and Richard Robertson showed the Committee a demonstration of the new system to support the performance management process (Fusion).

Darren O’Neil provided an overview of employee feedback to the plans to set the level of employee additional contribution into the Nationwide Group Personal Pension scheme at a default of 3%. He also gave an overview of future communications to support understanding of the value of employee pensions.

A number of actions were agreed. The next JCNC will take place on 6 October 2015.
