The Joint Consultation and Negotiation Committee received presentations from a number of guests.
Neil Lewis (NL) presented an overview of work on the next phase of HR Transformation and timeline together with an update on improvements made through approve on the move. It was agreed that the committee would have a further update in September ahead of the launch of the next phase of the project.
Darren O’Neil joined the JCNC to discuss planned communications to employees following the announcement on 1 July 2015 of improvements to the Group Personal Pension.
James Domm and Jayne Lewis attended to discuss work to consider car parking as part of the Enabling a Great Place to Work programme.
The JCNC noted the receipt of information on pension membership and the activities of the Redeployment and Exit teams in HR.
NGSU raised their frustration over the length of time the Society had taken to respond to some concerns and requests made by them through the JCNC and requested that this be noted at the next Employee Involvement Committee.
A number of actions were agreed. The next JCNC will take place on 4 August 2015.
