Main Content

Keeping in touch with our members is really important. You can download all our communications from this section of the website – so its really easy to find out the latest news and views of the Union.

Our main communications are:

Rapport Magazine

Is our magazine for members and is sent direct to members at home. Rapport contains a mix of articles, including updates on issues the Union is dealing with at Nationwide; articles of interest that relate to employment and union issues and information about benefits that are available to members. Rapport is published three times a year in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Read previous editions of Rapport here.

Union Mail

Is our monthly new letter.  Union Mail is published on the first Wednesday every month and is available to read online. Paper copies are sent to each workplace. Read the latest edition of Union Mail here.

Special Issue of Rapport

We publish a ‘Special Issue’ when there is some important news about changes to policies and procedures at Nationwide, for example, the outcome of the annual pay review or to tell you about Union Representative vacancies and elections. You can read previous Special Issues here.

Joint Statements

Joint Statements are the official notification of changes to employment terms and conditions or other changes to the working environment that have been agreed between Nationwide and NGSU. Read the Joint Statements issued over recent years here.

NGSU Forum

The Forum is our online chat room for matters about work and the world at large. Members can choose to ‘chat’ using an anonymous ‘username’. All users must agree to abide by the house rules. The Union moderates the forum and reserves the right to edit or delete posts that contravene the house rules. Join the Forum here.

Regional Council Minutes

You can  keep in touch with activity and debate by Union Reps in your local area by reading the minutes from your Regional Council Meeting. The agendas and minutes from Regional Councils can be found in our Reps section here.
