Announcements for this year’s Wychwood Festival include UB40-Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue reunited, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Boney M, The Proclaimers, The Undertones, DJs Craig Charles and Andy Kershaw, Lucy Rose, Dreadzone, Electric Swing Circus, Ghostpoet, Monsieur Doumani, The Wonder Stuff, Darlia, Thrill Collins and many more. We also welcome CBBC favourites Justin Fletcher and Dick & Dom, with dozens more acts set to be announced in the next few months.
The festival is known for its family friendly feel, big range of music on offer, plus loads of other activities including over 100 workshops for all ages, comedy, headphone disco, kids literature & poetry, real ale festival, great food and much more. Plus we have a very laid back vibe, you can drive onto the campsite to unload all your gear, and we have been nominated Best Family Festival in the UK Festival Awards every year. Last year we celebrated a whole decade of care free festival weekends beneath the idyllic Prestbury Hills. Some of you have been every single year and others have found out about us more recently, but all Wychwood goers tell us of their common love of the friendly atmosphere they discover each Summer.
